Navy SEAL officers Jocko Willink and Leif Babin successfully led their various special forces units through the turmoil of war. To survive these ultimate stress situations, they developed a very special culture of discipline and responsibility, which they then passed on to their successors in the SEAL leadership.
In their book "Extreme Ownership," the two elite soldiers explain how they led their units through the most challenging combat missions and demonstrate how effective leadership principles can be optimally transferred from the battlefield to a corporate environment, to teams, and to everyday life. Their secret to success: taking responsibility for their own mistakes, learning from failures, and developing new solutions based on these mistakes.
After completing his studies, JOCKO WILLINK spent 20 years with the Navy SEALs, ultimately as an officer. He then trained SEAL leaders. He retired in 2010. and co-founded the management consultancy Echelon Front .
Leif Babin served for nine years as a US Navy SEAL officer and designed the new leadership training for SEAL officers. After his active service, he founded Echelon Front with Jocko Willink.
